It’s time for our annual Huskies Run fundraiser! Now through October 10, our students can raise money for their school in our biggest fundraiser of the year. The run will take place on October 6, when all students will walk or run a designated course at the school. We need everyone’s help!

We need everyone’s help! The money raised helps the PTA fund:

  • PTA programs
  • Field trips
  • Assemblies
  • Technology
  • Classroom supplies
  • Events
  • Parking lot safety
  • Equipment

    WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
    ✅ Register your child at: https://app.memberhub.gives/huskiesrun23
    ✅ Donate online using a credit or debit card.
    - 🛑 Please note: When making a donation, you’ll be prompted to tip. The tip DOES NOT go to Keller or our students. It goes directly to Givebacks.
    ✅ Promote our fundraiser by sharing your child’s fundraising website through email and social media. Donors can also text “huskiesrun2023” to (919) 626-3277.
    ✅ Check the website to track your student’s donations and see where their class stands!

    EVENT DETAILS:
    Date: Friday, October 6, 2023, during the school day
    Final donation deadline: Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
    Online donations through your child's website are preferred. Donations in the form of cash or check should be turned into the school using the attached pledge sheet. (Please make checks payable to Helen Keller PTA.)

    INDIVIDUAL GOAL
    All students are encouraged to reach their individual donation goal of $75.00.

To earn raffle tickets:
● Students who register at https://app.memberhub.gives/huskyrun2023 earn one raffle ticket.
● Students who meet their goal earn one raffle ticket.
● Students receive additional raffle tickets for each additional $75 raised.
     (For example: A student registering online and raising $150 will earn three entries for the raffle prizes!)
● The top fundraising student will win a $140 play card to CJ Barrymore’s and, if the school goal is met, will have the honor of participating in the school goal reward with Mrs. Dryden.
New this year: The student who has the largest number of donations will win a special prize.

CLASSROOM GOAL REWARDS:
● Every class that raises $1,000 or more will earn an extra recess.
● The students in the top fundraising class will win a trophy to keep in their classroom.
● The teachers of the grade that raises the most will receive a gift card for a special lunch in Royal Oak!

SCHOOL GOAL REWARDS:
If we reach our overall school goal of $24,000, Mrs. Dryden will be silly stringed by a student! For every $1,000 raised over our goal, we will draw an additional staff member to get silly stringed!

Weather permitting, the event will be held outside in the field NW of the school.

Parents and families are welcome to come to cheer on your kids during the Huskies Run!

12:30 - 12:55 —  DK
12:40 - 1:05 —  Kindergarten
12:55 - 1:20 —  5th Grade & Ms. Maurice's class
1:20 - 1:45 —  3rd Grade & Ms. Raymer's class
1:45 - 2:10 —  1st Grade
2:10 - 2:35 —  2nd Grade & Hammerle's class
2:35 - 3:05 —  4th Grade
