Ephram (pronounced F-rum) is a freshman at ROHS, Emily is in 6th grade at ROMS, and Natalie is in 3rd grade.

What do you do for a living?
I am the secretary to Principal Meldrum at Royal Oak Middle School, and I'm a licensed massage therapist.

What are some of your hobbies & interests? Something you're passionate about
I love listening to music, cooking & baking when I feel well enough to do so, reading, and watching tv. I love going to get a meal or drinks with friends, and spending time at home with my husband, kiddos, and our rescue dogs Buddy and Lando. I like watching documentaries, human interest pieces, movies, and shows. I am passionate about human and civil rights, politics, sociology, science, music, and history. 

What do you love about Keller PTA?
I love helping the Keller students and their families. I also appreciate and cherish the relationships I've made with the staff members and other Keller parents. I've gained so many connections I wouldn't have otherwise made had I not joined PTA.

What do you find challenging about PTA?
It can be super difficult to find willing volunteers to help out in all the areas we need them. The more people willing to get involved, the more we can spread work out and it makes it easier for everyone. And more enjoyable!

As an elementary school student yourself, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a teacher, a marine biologist and work with sharks, and a makeup artist for scary movies.

Anything else you want to add about yourself, your family, Keller, or PTA?
I am looking forward to sharing the joy of PTA with all Keller families this year, and getting more people involved!

Two kids, Clara will be in 5th grade, Ben will be in 3rd grade.

What do you do for a living?
Director of Client Success for an edtech company.

What are some of your hobbies & interests? Something you're passionate about?
My husband and I love taking road trips and renovating houses.

What do you love about Keller PTA?
It creates so many fun experiences for our kids and a connection between families. It takes a village to raise a child and the PTA is part of our village.

What do you find challenging about PTA?
I wish that I had more time to dedicate to all of the events.

I have three kids. Finnegan - 7th grade, Lucille - 5th grade, Delaney - 3rd grade

What do you do for a living?
Hair stylist

What are some of your hobbies & interests? Something you're passionate about?
I like to go up north with my family in the summer. I love our neighborhood and enjoy planning events for our neighbors and kids. We like to bike downtown to the Farmer's Market and library.

What do you love about Keller PTA?
I love all of the events the PTA put on.  I’ve also really enjoyed seeing all of the local businesses support our PTA and the connections that I have made through chairing restaurant nights and Huskies Run.  

What do you find challenging about PTA?
Finding volunteers for all of our amazing events seems to be one of the biggest challenges.

As an elementary school student yourself, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Teacher

How many years have you been a Keller parent?
This will be my fifth year

I have three kids.  Victor is in 4th grade and Marshall is in 1st grade, both at Keller.  Curtis (age 3) is in preschool part-time.

What do you do for a living?
I have been a stay-at-home mom since my first son was born.  Prior to that, I worked for a multifamily property management company.

What are some of your hobbies & interests? Something you're passionate about?
I love reading (especially crime or mystery novels), doing puzzles (logic, sudoku, crossword), and playing games (Nintendo games, card games, board games).  I also enjoy sports and like to craft when I have time -- or when my kids have some random special request!  I am passionate about reducing waste, recycling...anything that helps protect our Earth.

What do you love about Keller PTA?
I love that Keller PTA is inclusive of everyone!  Our PTA is very welcoming, and there are a variety of ways to be involved.  I think participation in Keller PTA is a great way to contribute to the school community.  

What do you find challenging about PTA?
I am friendly if spoken to first, but I am not naturally a very outgoing person.  I am always happy to pitch in; however, I prefer letting others do the talking or organizing.  So on a personal level, I find PTA challenging because it takes me out of my comfort zone when I need to interact with new faces.  

As an elementary school student yourself, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a dentist or orthodontist.  

Anything else you want to add about yourself, your family, Keller, or PTA?
I am not originally from the area, or even from Michigan (Go Bucks!), but I love living in Royal Oak (well, minus the winters...).  Our family enjoys being a part of the Keller community!

What are some of your hobbies & interests? Something you're passionate about?
Anything outdoors- camping, running, skiing, hiking. Traveling and spending time with family and friends.

What do you love about Keller PTA?
Meeting and helping the amazing staff, students and parents.

What do you find challenging about PTA?
Fewer and fewer volunteers every year

Dolphin trainer or teacher
