Areas we cover include:

• Playground & green spaces - trees, shade, landscaping, and overall improvements to play areas

• Gardens & planted areas - maintaining existing plantings (pots at main entrance) and adding new greenery

• Pond & ecosystem - caring for the pond, its inhabitants and surrounding habitat

• Cafeteria courtyard - exploring ways to make the space more functional and inviting

• Overall campus grounds - identifying opportunities for beautification and improvement

Our priorities this year:

• Find our next “Pond Guru!” Our longtime pond expert has moved on, and we’d love someone with an interest in pond life or aquatic ecosystems to take the lead.

• Add more trees around the playground to provide shade and help deter geese.

• Improve the cafeteria courtyard with outdoor seating and other enhancements to make it a more useful student space.
